The following information has been supplied by our Hon. Secretary - further to communication from John & Margaret Hatch, Essex, UK

"Dear Hon. Secretary

I have found your address amongst Len Warren's papers, and it is with great sadness and regret that I write to tell you that Len died peacefully on Thursday, 30th March, 2006.

 

He had a short illness which we discovered to be lung cancer.

 

I know that Len was delighted to know that the Squadron Assoc. was carrying on after the passing of many of its original members.

 

Len's funeral is due to take place on Friday, 7th April, and his ashes scattered at his favourite spot on the River.
